A deck and pergola can add much interest to an existing structure. This existing property, with many outbuildings and features, has much visual appeal of its own but a studio building had been built with the intention of adding an exterior structure. The deck and pergola are constructed of custom milled cedar timbers and the decking is ipe. Ipe, a tropical hardwood, has a beautiful mahogany coloration and is highly rot resistant.
